Job Description 1.Builds & maintains a team and develops the necessary resources and competencies to support the sustainable implementation of BBMS in the plant
2.Creates drive and passion related to BBMS: uses global ranking/internal competition as a motivational factor, organizes local BBMS events, celebrates success, …
3.Keeps a helicopter view and makes sure that the plant is focusing on the right KPI’s and steers diagnostics (e.g. bottleneck versus non-bottleneck scenario). Ensures good alignment of the KPIs with the regional goals.
4.Ensures continuous improvement by making an X+1 plan for future state, WoW and playbooks & deployment (as part of broader goal deployment process). Focus should be on WoW, labor productivity, asset utilization and quality & yield and follow up of the progress in maintenance, energy and planning.
5.Ensures the maintenance of the required know-how and skills within the plant (for all relevant functions) by permanently monitoring training needs and by delivering the required training in cooperation with local HR and the manufacturing academy (skill matrix)
6.Facilitates all relevant changes in/new playbooks within the own plant
7.Functions as the plant point of contact for the Regional and Global BMS team and participates in Regional BMS workshops and benchmarking exercises
8.Promotes good practice sharing with other plants
9.Permanently operates as a coach on WoW within the plant towards management
10.Ensures good BBMS project governance within the plant (e.g. through wave, …), prepares and facilitates the monthly follow-up meeting with the Regional VP/Plant Manager
11.Is a member of the plant management team
12.Acts as the coordinator for Plant related BBMS topics/issues
13.Participates in regional topical meetings
14.Ensures the implementation of the overall goal deployment process in the plant
15.Ensures structured project management
16.Facilitates self assessments and keeps sharp knowledge of the playbooks
17.Continuously supports the plant in rolling out and improving of the WoW modules in line with the global playbooks (visual KPI’s and performance dialogues, DILO/WILO, Standardization & 5S, GEMBA walks and problem solving)
18.Guides the plant in implementing mini-companies and self steering teams in line with the global playbooks
19.Ensures continuous improvement in the implementation of WoW by doing quartlery self assessments and by facilitating the 3-monthly TIP (Tactical Implementation Plan) updates and a monthly follow-up
20.Ensures the facilitation of all relevant changes in the WoW playbooks.
